Default paypal paying for items

thought id put this on after a seeing many people getting ripped off!

simple rules around paypal if you are paying for GOOD'S pay by GOOD'S not GIFT,if you pay by GIFT you are giving the person money thats what paypal see it as and thats why there are many choices of payments there so you dont get ripped off.if you have any problems with the item you recieve or it doesnt turn up and you have payed by GIFT you wont see that money again!

SELLERS should list there items including the fees or if you are not sure its simple divid the total of the item you are selling inc pnp by 100 then times it by 3.4 then add 20p to that.

so say you want £50 posted

50 / 100 = 0.50p 3.4 x .50p = £1.70 + 0.20p = £1.90 so add £1.90 to the total.

think twice about paying by GIFT if the seller says GIFT ONLY ask yourself why?

BUYERS dont be tight its a few quid extra on the cost and your covered think of it as insurance for yourself!

anyway be nice to see this as a sticky for everyone to read and any new comers to the site to see so they are clued up abit.
