Default How much is a used Durango worth?

Hi All,

Just considering starting up in 4WD again, and have only really considered a B44 so far. Mainly down to cost, and availability.

However, what could I get a used Durango for? I cant say I've seen many for sale.

Thanks,

Chris

Should be a similar price.
I've seen them as low as £125 and as high as £200 in the trade section.

410R's are still available new for £175 with carbonfibre towers thrown in if that's in your price range?

Thanks for the reply mdb. That's quite over my price range to be honest unfortunately. I have £120 at the most.

Just watched a brand new 410r sell on ebay for £136 delivered. Shame I dont have cleared funds in my account just yet!

I guess as its end of season now, a few more may become available?

Thanks,

Chris

I would think quite a few people would be getting the V3 and selling there old gear. To be honest why don't you just save some more cash and grab the V3

Hi Coleman,

The thing is, I am starting up from scratch again, so I need to buy absolutely everything in one go, from radio gear, to charger, cells, motor, speedo, car, spares etc etc.

My budget allows for a small amount for a car to run through the winter, but my intention is to replace this with something fresh for next season.

Just keep your eye out for a 410R then, You could easily get one for less than £140. For that sort of price you will always get your money back on it next season too.

Yeah, I think I might just do that.

Are there any brca approved saddle lipo's that are know not to fit into a durango chassis?

What spares package should I build up? I plan to race indoors through the winter, carpet, and slippy floor.

That's Jordan's.
Looks ok to me?
Been for sale for 5 weeks now, so might be some manoeuvring space...

I try to carry a good few spares, but to be honest I dont really break much.
i would carry:

- Spur Gear
- Set of wishbones
- Servo Saver Kit
- Pins (wheels pins & slipper pin)

That's about it to be fair! they are a very strong car you may not even need them.

I should have my 2010 full fat for sale shortly. I'll be 1 of those people getting a V3.

I was hoping to see £200 for it, but maybe I'm dreaming?

Hello again,

I've been offered some Reedy 5200 saddle lip's. Is there any chance that these won't fit in a Durango? Or can it accommodate any saddle lipo's?

Thanks,

Chris

As long as they are no higher than 25mm they should fit in the 2010 spec, the original R and the new V3 Durango's, but I think the old pre 2010 spec cars could only take 23mm high batteries.

Racing at Ludlow soon then?

Cheers for the reply mate. The Dimensions are (mm): 69.5 x 47 x 25.1. Guess they might be alright.

Yeah, I plan to race over at Ludlow. I've only ever raced their once before, back in 98, with Hywel Davies.
