Cheers guys
First shell i have painted since the 80's!!!
Will try something more adventurous with the next 1, think i went for something basic as i had no confidence in the air brush at the start but by the time i had finished i realised it is sooo much better than a spray can, guess practice will make perfect, eventually

Have you heard it run yet ? Does it sound like an AT-AT gun going off ?

120 psi. Struth fella you'll be able to spray treacle with that, not that anyone wants treacle in their shell, too many bees chasing the car around the track will scare the marshalls off...

Sorry not enough sleep... I'll get me coat now

Probably does at the price im paying, err free
Friend of the family is bringing it round this week for me to have a look at, he recons it's pretty quiet, hmmm we will see, he does work in engineering so there is some hope, can't be any worse than the 1 i use at the moment, bet my neighbours hate me already, suppose i could always sound proof the workshop lol

I looked into sound proofing once, it turned out it was actually cheaper to buy a proper compressor than sound proof my workshop ( the one I had at the time was about 30ft x 7 ft ).

These are probably a bit spendy for doing toy cars but they are super quiet, like a fridge, literally, you can sit next to it on the phone to a custom and they'll hear everything you say.
