Exclamation Paypal Phone Number Wanted ???

has anybody got a different phone number to ring paypal instead of this one....................

Customer Service

08707 307 191

Ive had an email from paypal saying

You recently attempted to transfer funds from your bank account to your PayPal account.

Your bank declined the funds transfer on 20 Jul 2011.

We have charged your card, which you chose as your backup funding source, to complete your payment to

I phoned my bank up and they say there is no problem with my bank account/details so problem must be with paypal themselves !!!

Any ideas why this would happen ???

cheers

Hope you havent replied to that email it could be a scam. A genuine email from paypal should state your full name.

I did think that at first but when checking my online bank account the payment actually has been taken from my credit card (backup) and not my bank account..........

It maybe just that the card which number you provided has reached the expiry date. I recently had an email from paypal asking me to provide the new details as my card was soon to expire which was true.

Its expensive to phone them. Log onto paypal then click the contact us button and get the email address from there. They say they will reply within 24 hours.

According to saynoto0870.com, use 020 8605 3000 which is eBay UK. At Main menu, select option 1 to be put through to PayPal (same as calling through 0870 number)
