Default RC10 B2 UJ'S

Anyone know what sizes MIP made for all the associated buggies as the MIP ujs on the B2/3 are not long enough. I need at leat 2mm longer to keep them from popping out.

If none do MIP do kyosho ujs as well as i know they do fit in the out drive so just need to make sure i can buy the right dogbone item that fits the other bit of the uj.

Try to ask this question on rc10talk .... if you haven't already asked !

If you have the chance .... check the lenght of the UJs of the TT Phoenix buggy (http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXAKRJ&P=Z).

Bye

I'd be interested to hear if these work.... my mate runs a B3 & has had the same problem with the drive shafts popping out.... we solved the problem with spacer shims on the axle & limiting the suspension droop (the latter compromises the set-up) But the damage has already been done with the outdrives & dogbones both getting chewed up

Problem is the ujs dont seem to have been designed for this car as like you ive zero droop which causes me problems as on a flat track im well on the pace but with no droop the cars a flying pig. You cant space more than three either side using mip as the wheels dont run freely if you do 4 on the inner side of the hub. Ive emailed Eugene (may have mispelt) asking how much for a one off 2mm longer uj set.

Cheers mate, but finding the length in mm is not easy. I will email tt and see if they can update me.

Do you mean Eustace (as in Eustace Moore of MIP)?

If you let us know what you need we are placing our next distributor order with them this week and can gladly include anything that may be required....

I had this problem on my B3 too, what I had was some Losi rear axles with B3 bones. The Losi rear axles were longer from the CVD end to the pin hole so that you could space the CVD end further in. I think B4 CVD axles might be longer than B3 ones aswell so that might work too.

B4 wont work as one of the team drivers gave me a set to borrow and were not the right length.

Would you by chance no what part number you used so i can buy and fit?

Found this old B3 thread where someone quotes the part number as 1042
http://www.radiocontrolzone.com/show...=35834&page=34

Still available, seems to be used on just about every old Losi buggy/truck
http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...-CVD-Axle-Losi

I don't know if it will push it in by a whole 2mm though, but I didn't have any problems with the original shocks and no limiters.

Chees, will buy and try. I need more droop for jumps so I can better balance the weight for carpet racing.

Thanks dude, much appreciated and have just fitted. Six washers on inner side of hub both sides and 5 on outer side and zero slop and free wheels perfectly. Gives me 2mm longer ujs and great droop.
