Default 2.4ghz and digital servo's

Hello,

I was reading through the manual for my 2.4g futaba transmitter yesterday, and it says that I should run a futaba digital servo, otherwise the servo could become damaged, or not function properly.

is this the case? do I really need to use a digital servo? I haven't planned to change my servo's for at least a few months.

Thanks.

I have the 3pm 2.4 Ghz transmitter from futuba.
With my transmitter i have had no problem using other servo's as long as you adjust the endpoint on the transmitter to the propper settings.

Digital servos are only needed to make full advantage of the futuba fasst system. This makes the reaction of the servo's faster.

Thanks very much for that. It has settled my mind a bit! I didn't really want to have to buy new servo's this month!
