I just made up some weights to fit either side of the short LiPo along with a plate that fits underneath the battery.

In rear motor config, the ESC shelf / battery box doesn't allow for any under LiPo weight (depending on the height of the LiPo) - but with the 96mm battery fitted fully forward, you can still fit weights underneath it.

The 150g Gnarly is a combination of an 80g under LiPo weight plus the sdie LiPo weights (each 35g).

I wouldn't say the weight was at the rear.

I ran the weight under the battery but with the short battery in the fully forward position - so it didn't go underneath the ESC shelf at all

The weights at the side of the battery are pretty evenly spaced around the centre of gravity.

Although I had no scales to prove it, I'd say that the added weight actually moved the C of G very slightly forward if anything.
