Default Newark Kit Car Show 18-19 June

West Bridgford Model Car Club have been invited to attend the Newark Kit Car Show, to do demonstration racing. We will be running alongside Newark model car club and so we will be able to do demonstration races for both on and off-road cars as two track will be laid out. One track on grass and one on tarmac.
As a demonstrator you will be eligible for a discounted entrance to the show. £8.00 for one day and 15 pounds if you are doing both days. This is per carload so if there are 4 of you in a car you only pay 15 pounds. Normal rates of entrance are 10.00 a day. Obviously you will get full access to the whole show.
Trophies will be given on both days for winners of races etc.
Newark Kit car show is a great event so why not spend a whole weekend drooling at cars and having some enjoyable fun racing.
If you are interested in attending please see Robert Jaques at any club night or send him an e-mail: [email protected]
We would like to get as many people attending so we can put on some good demonstration races so please feel free to come along and race!

Hiya, Tony wants to pass on his thanks for all WBMCC'ers who came along and supported the event. It takes a fair amount of organisation and he really apprieciates the efforts of Rob and Dave, and all those who joined us at the Kit Car Show to step in at short notice when we'd been let down by another local club. Tony felt that the off-road and on-road aspects worked really well together, and would like it to be a part of future events at the Kit Car Show.

If you've been to the Kit Car Show with Newark Radio Controlled Car Club in the past (Chris, I'm looking at you!) then you'll know its a brilliant couple of days, showing off the greatest hobby in the world. Plus, awesome cars, a relaxed race meeting and out of the last 4-5 years, great sunny weather.

As soon as we get the date for next year, we'll get some information up about the meeting, but we would love to have WBMCC back. If you've got some cool ideas, share them too!

Sorry I couldnt come this year as I have always enjoyed racing at the show. The only reason I couldnt come this year was because I was on holiday. I did consider attending and then going on holiday late. I hope to be there next year.
Chris.
