Looking at doing the tlr race just would like to know if the tarmac is still there and what the wear rate is like on average over the weekend

We have placed Astro around the banked corner so there is only a small concrete section now. This has had a notable effect on reducing the wear.

Wear rate is not really high and the latest Schumacher ini Spike 2 tyres work well and right down to when the spikes are very low. New tyres tend to give more forward drive with the same amount of side bite.

In the dry, many drivers will use old tyres and run them until they start to have a notable increase in lap times.
