Default adding weight

if adding weight to a chassis is it best to place it under lipo for best distribution or split it and place over front and rear axle? which would be best im thinking under lipo as weight would be centralised any thoughts?

No-where near as simple as that.

The ballast should be used to help change the behaviour of the car - if it understeers then weight at the rear will only make the problem worse, etc etc.

Best thing to do is post in the relevant section to find out where most add (if they add!) and fine tune from there.

was thinking of using weight for making car heavier in wet condititions for better grip rather than using it to tune oversteer -understeer
