Default M8 charging jack polarity?

does anyone know for certain the polarity for M8 charging jack? I am guessing +ve inner, -ve outer but am too afraid to fry electronics to test. thanks.

The positive is always the inner and the negative is always the outer.

I've read that you should really charge through the jack, you should take the cells out of the tx, and let them rest for a while after charging before plugging back in, something to do with a voltage spike blowing a fuse in the tx.

dobber & mattybucks: thanks! will take the battery out of the transmitter to charge. Hope it does, been sitting idle for a few years...
