Speed passion rotor differences

What are the differences between the silver and black SP v 3.0 rotors? According to the SP website, the silver ones offer high top speed...

Are the silver ones sintered rotors, and the black ones bonded?

Just wanted to know, as the novak ballistics all come with 12.3mm sintered rotors as std.
