Mansfield off road.

Hi all. Just a quickie to invite one and all to our club in mansfield. We race every wednesday night indoor on a mix of surfaces. We do have several very good jumps and all usual facilities incl electric, snack bar and toilets. Doors open at 6ish and we start racing at around 7.15pm. We do run some tourers as well as buggies so will cater for almost anything. Please do come down and join us for some fun and freindly racing. We are on bottany ave commercial park near the town centre. Pm me for any more info.

Didn't realise Mansfield Club had got into offroad, last time I visited it was just tourng cars. It's all good news though!

Had a nosey but didn't get the chance to race....Broke it on my first attempt at the jump.... Cold Hall, brittle plastic,no spares, not a good combo

But how was the venue?

The venue was good, mainly carpet, a bit of polished floor and 3 jumps. A small jump, triple jump and a bigger table top style jump. With the hall being cold the club may have to look at getting gym mats or something to cushion the landing.

Think it was the clubs first attempt at off road and a good one, it worked well running buggys and tc's side by side. It wasn't the biggest track but it was tight and twisty which is ideal for some mid week practice. If you live local its worth a visit.
