Default brushed/brushless question

does anybody know the brushed equivelent of a 8.5t motor?
and can you use lipo's with brushed motors?

I would say that an 8.5t brushless is roughly equivalent to a 10-12t brushed mod motor.
Re' Lipo cells, you can use them virtually anywhere provided your speedo has an lvc or an alarm to indicate when the voltage is getting a little low.
