Default Futaba t3vc issue

Hi

I recently purchased a futaba t3vc which had been recently serviced.

I plug in my futaba 2.4 ghz module and the led on the module doesnt come on! Has anyone had this problem before. I've fiddle with PCM and ppm but no luck. Battery power is fine

Any suggestions?

check the pins on the transmitter are not bent or loose, solder joints can crack sometimes, same applies for the module connections

I noticed on mine the pins in the back of the tranny which slide into the module seemed a little "loose" ie they were a slightly sloppy fit in the module. I cured this by putting a tiny kink in them (done at your own risk!!) but this made them a much tighter fit into the module.

hope this helps, but obviously it may not be your problem, just a thought

Default Thanks

Guys...thanks for your replies so far...

1. the connectors on the tranny are not loose.

2. the module is fine....it powers up well on my 3pks and works..

3. the tranny was only serviced a few weeks ago with no faults to report..

Strange...

Is the 2.4GHz module definitely compatible with the 3VC? I know it works with the 3VCs.

Also, if it does work it must be on PPM, not PCM.

The module must be compatible with the 3vc...websites say it is and the instructions show insertion into a 3vc!

I've tried ppm and pcm both...no difference.

The battery is well charged...I've tried a few in fact.

Have you got a module that does work in the 3VC to prove the 3VC is okay?

You could try phoning Ripmax and asking for technical support? They were helpful when my LCD packed in.
