Default What to Do Mini T's are junk. Carisma.

Bought My son and daughter a Mini T each to race in the courtyard where we live, but they break when you sneeze near them. I'm thinking of selling them both and was thinking about buying the Carisma GT14B. The main thing is the size the little stuff is perfect for where we live, but on the other hand there isn't anywhere to race them near me I believe.

So do I bite the bullet and buy the a GT14B Each to "play" with or do I get them something like a second hand B4 Each, that they can't really use at home but can race when they are good enough at the local track 10 miles away.?

My boy is nearly 6 and needs pratice and my daughter is 11 and also needs the practice.

What to do. Am I right in saying that High Wycome is the nearest Mini (1/18) To me in the GU46 area?

As they are so young it would be nice if there was somewhere to race daytime say saturday.

Opinions and Ideas would be great.

Thank you.

You already know my vote so I won't bore you with it again but I can vouch that High Wycombe is a great and child friendly club and they run Saturday evenings. If you haven't had a chance to get round there to see it on a Sat eve then pop along as soon as possible and have a look.

Also, I will add that allowing my kids to play with their cars at home whenever they want has gone a long way to create the desire for them to want to do it again and again and not feel any apprehension when going to a club and taking part in the racing. My boy is 8 and he done nearly 3 seasons of BRCA micro nationals.

Top banana. I think that I already knew the answer after our conversation yesterday. I need to get to High Wycombe really to look at the Kids meet. Kidd friendly is top priority I want them to enjoy going and not to be frowned apon like they would be at 1/1o meets, due to there in experience.

Thanks again Carl. Hope to see you friday.
