Default Spektrum RX probs

Hi all

My rx appears to have developed a little prob, was letting the kiddies have a go in the garden and the car kept losing power - thought it was the lipo so changed it out and alas the same prob.

Just been having a little gander at it more closely and speed controllers lighting up as it should - alas the amber light on the rx is either not on, very dimly on or kinda dimly flashing.....whichever of the three even with the servo plugged in it's not kicking in.

Am guessing this either means that the powers not going to the rx or it's dead

The wire that goes from the esc to the rx is fine, have tried rebinding, and also have opened up the rx and no visible signs of anything untoward in there.

Don't have another rx or esc to test against unfortunately

edit::forgot I still had me old tekin brushed esc.....plugged that all up, with servo, and still same issue, oh well, new rx just went on the shopping list..........................

Cheers
matt

ps is a dx3r/sr3100 and novak.
