Default 502 crush tube?

Hi Tamiya dudes, a mate of mine has a nice new 502, it's got rear ali hubs (not sure if STD on kit) but anyway when you nip rear wheels up cvd is binding up.

Do these have a crush tube fitted between bearings? When I had a quick look at racing none were fitted.

If yes do you know the part number for these?
