Default B44.. now half built

Done the front half...

Buggered up one of the AS9744 steering posts while trying to push the lock nut against the spring.. the thread is totally wrecked... need a new one. Microtech dont have any stock so need to phone round on Monday.

I think the AS9719 front body shell mount is a terrible fit. Had to trim it with the knife to make it fit in the oval hole. I think it shoudl be aluminium really.

The front wishbones are very stiff before the shocks are fitted. Are they meant to bind that much?

Other than that.. its fine

Haha! I did that too!

My front body post was a rubbish fit too, but everything else went together really well.

I'm struggling to build the shocks without air in them at the moment, but I'll read through the separate posts about them.

I had to do a bit of filing to get my front body post in but I know for a fact that it won't come out now

I am rather limited on my pinions at the moment 20, 21, 22, 23, 24. What have people been running with the B44 and a GTX 5.5? For tracks such as Coventry and Kiddi?
