Default batteries?

What batteries are you using? brushless can have problems with low power nimh batteries.
I fully sympathise with you, i bought a vapour (1/8 electric) and it came with an instruction manual for the wrong speedo! Try googling the codes off the speedo, ansmann only rebrand products, you may get a manual online from the original manufacturer.

Mine did this and wasn't particularly fast. It turned out to be my lipos just couldn't cope - track power 25c 3200's

I have since bought some other batteries that are 3800 35c and its now not far off the 6t proper motor and speedo in my other car.

Only real gripe with it is that if you hit the brakes twice it then needs two stabs at the throttle to get going again. Would be better if it gave you a window to use brakes more than once before activating reverse.

ive tried 7.4v 25c 5000mah overlander lipo's in it and some trakpower 3200's then some moorespeed 4600's 45c? and then some good but old 4500 7.2v orion's....ive just took it out and replaced it with a lrp qc3 and a checkpoint 10x2 and i can now say....it flies!!!.....i can even make it flip over on command in the street(not very good for racing i know but still very funny).
i think the whats wrong with the speedo is that it's a friday afternoon special!!!:thumbdo wn:..
ah well....
