Does anybody know if these nortec o-rings fit for Tamiya CVA dampers? I have Tamya Durga which have those dampers. I am looking for new o-ring for those dampers if i could have smoother operation with them.

The whities are a 1/8" o-ring, the CVA runs a 3mm o-ring - so they won't fit.
In my opinion the CVAs are very smooth with the standard o-rings. But that is mostly because the tolerances between the various parts are so large! If you want a performance damper - you just have to get rid of the CVAs. They have effectively no damping action, and on top of that, after a couple of hard races they are virtually worn out as well! |

Thanks Sosidge! I'll buy some normal o-rings for those CVA:s because my money situation is what it is. Maybe one day I invest for better dampers when I'm rich

I have heard that someone have used nortech whities in TRF dampers. Are there different piston rod diameters between different TRF dampers?

The TRF also uses 3mm o-rings.
But for some reason people put the wrong sizes in there ![]() |

I use the Whitties in the TRF dampers, and all is fine, that is the buggy and onroad TRF dampers.

just remember these are a soft silcone rubber ring, and although there supposed to be different sizes they do work in both metric and imperial dampers, this may be bacause there under compression when there fitted so possible expand to fit,ether way they work in ether,

We run the same ones as in Ashleys losi shocks in our Tamiya No leaks at all suspention works fine.
