Default XXX-CR Barking diff??

Ive had a quick look in this section but couldnt find anything, so sorry if its been discussed before.

My diff was barking so i decided the rebuild it as i was told the only thing that causes this is the diff, i replaced everything except the top slipper shaft, and it was ok for half of a pack of cells, untill it started again?

Would be greatful if anyone has any idea's.

Kev

Too loose. Every diff will do it if too loose.

Once you build a new diff, and run it a bit, you need to readjust it as it will have 'bedded' in.

You don't need to take it out to make adjustments. The screw head should be on the motor side. All you need to do is stick an allen key or something down the slot of the head to lock the screw to the diff outdrive. Then just turn the opposite wheel clockwise to tighten it.

Does that make sense? it's really easy to make quick adjustments.

ive just rebuilt my B4 diff and it was far too loose and it was "barking like a dog" so i tightened it up and it was good to go.
