Default brushed motor probs

hi all

when running my car after about 3mins the motor unsolders it self. its a v brushed 11x1 running in a buggy

hope someone can help

hi bud i take it that it gets very hot then does the armature spin freely in the can?also what car are you running it in and what gear ratio spur pinion.

is get hot but not silly hot, running a tlr 22, tried lots of different gearing

just a thought but maybe your just not getting a good solder joint, use some flux paste on both ends your soldering... i had my brushed motor reach 120 degrees and the joints never came unsoldered,

Do's the motor need skimming and new brushes? if so that can generate heat if the gearing etc is ok and sticky brushes can cause excessive comm wear quickly and heat
