Default advice on spares and springs.

hi all have recently purchased an fs2 which im very happy with and done a couple of indoor meets.
just need advice on what spares i should buy for the outdoor season just so i dont come unstuck, just necssary parts cant afford to buy to many.
also would like to know what springs i will also need to get as i only have the kit yellow ones.
will be racing at various tracks with different surfaces over the outdoor period.
many thanks

I was advised shock towers, wishbones and front knuckles. I can vouch for needing a spare shock tower! Try and get the B revision (same part number, but has a B at the end - LA216B) as this looks like it has a bit more material on it (as well as the 4th hole used on dirt tracks I believe). Wishbones are nice as you get 1 front and 1 rear in the pack.

I would also recommend the alloy shock tower mount from 3-racing. You can get these from DMS. I got this after breaking the plastic shock mount, which in turn tore off from the front upper gearbox case.

Springs, I can't advise on at the moment. I've been using the kit yellows so far and they seem a good start point. I have got some stiffer ones (silver front, blue rear) to try out at some point. Some of the more established FS2 runners no doubt will be able to give better advice here!

Everything Toby said.

I ran silver #70 front and blue #68 rear 98% of the time on the FS, gives a very good balance with damping set to Fr 35 or 40wt/3B and Rr 30wt/3A

If you run the aluminium tower mounts you will need to space them up by 1.25mm as they are shorter than the FS mounts (as they were designed for the ZX5/ZX5-sp transcases).
Fit longer bolts through them too (19-20mm) as this helps robustness.

Only thing I break regularly is front knuckles LA254, then only really indoors over stupid features ... the Lazer is VERY strong otherwise.
