Default Spektrum SR3500 or SR3520?

About to buy one but is there a difference apart from 15 quid?

The other one says it's a micro receiver too.

SR3500 = DSM1

SR3520 = DSM2

SR3520 is a little bigger but weights less according to Spektrum website

If your tranny's DSM1 you can't use DSM2 with it

If your tranny's DSM2 you can bind DSM1 to it. At least mine did.

If you have DSM2 tranny it should have this sticker on it

Correct if I'm wrong

I've got a DSM2 one. So the sizes and weights are very similar and they can both be used, even if the more expensive one is a bit faster I'm sure I won't notice it at my skill level.

Thanks very much for the fast assistance.

If your Tx can run DSM2 then it makes sense to run DSM2 receivers. Trust me.

Thanks for that, just saw your post before I placed the order and will now trust you and go for the DSM2. I've got the SR3520 in another car with no issues and should really stick with that than attempt save 15 quid and end up falling of the track.
