Default This cell situation!!

Does anyone know what is going on with regards to cells next year?!?

With all the incidents recently of IB's going a little bit bang I wanted to know what the BRCA's take is on this for the coming season.

With xmas just round the corner Im guessing a lot of drivers will be getting a boat load of new equipment from mr Claus. But, is the rule on cells going to change for the outdoor season? Are we likely to see a ban on IB's?

I for one do not want to request from santa some nice new cells only to find I cant use the things next season!

the best advice for everyone at the moment regarding cells is wait & see!

prob not an ideal situation but its better than buying something that later turns out to be no good

Unfortunatly the BRCA electric board do not release the legal batteries until January 1st 2008. I would suggest that you hold on buying anything until after the details have been released. Of course if you are just club racing then you will not have a problem but I think that I would not recommend any IB cells at the moment. I currently run the East Power 4200 cells but I do not think these are legal as they have a black cover on the positive end whereas they supplied test samples with a red cover which are the cells that are BRCA legal.
