Yeah those are great but why don't you just get 5 or 6, see if you're any good ? Unless you've got money to burn in which case I'm sure a few of us here wouldn't mind a hand out

Seriously you don't need that many unless you're going to do this professionally and even then you should just get the colours you need for your next one/s so you gradually get a colour collection together.

Thank you for the advice I may buy a few and try first I'm thinking of a fluro yellow and blue (like the police cars and Black) I guess I'll need a transparent black, Fluro yellow and Fluro blue, and a transparent glitter, white, and a couple of brown and cream for shading does that sound right or am i missing some? Advice would be great. Thank you

Yep, Createx and of course my paints are about all I use.
I can beat that price for you if you require a full set.

If you just want a small set to start then the primary colors would be good..in opaques, transparents, flos, pearls etc plus some white and black.

I'D like a beginner set please fluro yellow fluro blue silver and black with some shading paints and a transparent metallic white thinners and a few other colours that you would recommend. I'm going to do a buggy shell and I hope to do some silver skulls under black with the police checker colour scheme.blue and yellow under the black as if the black was peeling off to reveal the police colour scheme. Well that's the plan. It may well look like it was done with crayons though

Hey Chef, you've got some great idea's there, and I don't want to stamp on your creativity or anything but don't try and do too much ?

Have you ever airbrushed anything before ? You could get some cheap artist colour inks from an art shop and get used to painting with the airbrush. Then plan out your shell on paper and try and do it on paper, just side and top views, there are plenty of body shell templates on the net if you google them. So once you've seen what you can do then try a body shell.

The trouble with doing uber cool complex stuff is if you stuff if it you'll probably put yourself off airbrushing, so one step at a time and before you know it you'll be getting asked to paint shells for all your mates.

It's all in the planning !
