Default BRCA RallyCross Series - Warm-up meeting

Hi Guys

Just like to remind you that the Rallycross series 'Warm-up' meeting is at Frankley on 27th March - just over a month away.

Entries will be directly to the club - keep an eye out for further details of how to enter.

Secondly, if you finished in the Top 50 last year and intend doing this year's series, you have until Monday to get you entries in to be assured of a place - after that it's open to all.

Looking forward to seeing you all again and having another great season.

I am a bit confused by the below rule for this year

Rule 17 [b] Tracks must be closed for a period of 15 days prior to any National meeting for those drivers attending the National meeting, with the exception of one open race meeting to be held on either of the two Sundays prior to the National – the choice of date at the discretion of the organising club. Any driver attending the National meeting who is found to be using the track during the closed period will be disqualified from the National Meeting. One car may be run by the organisers for a maximum of 10 minutes, to prove the suitability of the track.

I read this as i can run at the Frankley warm up meeting if i am doing the national the week after even though it is only 7 days before the national, is that correct?

Does this also mean if every club was to hold a warm up meeting the weekend before their national i could attend them all?

Cheers

I think you can run in the open meeting as it said this is the exception to the 15day rule, as it is OPEN to every one,so everyone has an oppertunity to practice if they wish, this meeting maybe within the 15 day period BUT that is the only time anyone can use the track if they are entered into the following National.

Your reading skills are good then Si

You can run at any 'official' warm up meeting - what you can't do however is turn up and practice the day before a warm-up meeting or any of the other 15 days before the National when the track is closed to 'National' competitors.
