Will be trying some club racing this summer so im in the market for a new transmitter.
My question turns around the futaba 3PMX vs 4PL.. Things i like about the 4PL 2.4ghz fhss: -It has the "speed" option for steering and throttle. -FHSS receivers are inexpensive. Things i like about the 3PM-X -It has the FASST feature. -So should i go with the FASST feature(less interterference) of the 3pm-x BUT i loose the "speed" fonction So bottom line is it worth loosing the FASST feature in exchange for the "speed function" ? |

4pl uses new S-FHSS mode, but it can also use normal FHSS mode if receiver doesn't support S-FHSS. I have used 4pl abaut two months and it has been very good transmitter. My previous transmitter was 3pm 40mHz and the 4pl is much better to use (bigger screen and more buttons). I think that 4pl is great transmitter with low price. I haven't used FASST transmitters so I can't say abaut the the differences between FASST and S-FHSS.
