Default converting an inferno gt to brushless...need help

hi folks i'm trying to convert a inferno gt to brushless, i want a single speed setup with reverse, so i have a conversion kit and have started but the 2 speed has a one way bearing, i took this out and i'm trying to use a centre diff i have from a xray buggy, this is around 10mm shorter than the 2 speed which then causes my centre driveshafts to be too short...one of the stock driveshafts fits from the centre diff to the front but the rear driveshaft is too short, so i bought 11mm driveshaft, this was too long, bought 105mm driveshaft, this also was too long, but only by a few mm's
could someone let me know what i'm doing wrong or what part i need, thanks
