Default Front Sch Mini Pins Slim on B4 Wheels

Hi,

I have Schumacher 2wd Front Mini Pin Yellow Slim tyres(U6609) with Associated Front wheel 2.2" (9588).Is this the corret wheel for the tyre? Its that when I mounted them the wheel seemed slightly to wide for the tyre and makes them badly unbalanced and wobble. I have tried shuffling the tyre about but can not get a good equal fit.

Is this right or do you cut the wheel down?

Thanks.

They should fit on the standard B4 rims but you will probably need to trim the beading on the tyre to get them to sit in the wheels ribs properly.

Hmm, tried that and the tyre still does not fit equal left to right, spin the wheel and it's no where near running true??

Fastrax do a wheel set for the b4 and the fronts are narrow and fit the slim minispikes better than the STD rims other than that get jconcepts rulux rims...

Do the wheels run true without a tyre? Most don't
Unless you're the next world champion I wouldn't worry as long as the tyre sits onto the wheel correctly - no bumps up and down.

The difference between Schumacher and the standard Asso wheel is comparable to 4mm.

I always use the Asso wheel, I fit the tyre without problem

i'm just going to be using the Schumacher wheels, that way i dont have to worry about cutting them down plus the tyer was made to fit the wheel.,
