Default ESC advice

chaps,

I currently have a RTR B4.1 with a 3300kv motor and a XP SC450-BL Brushless electronic speed control combo.

I want to up the motor power, but can't confirm to what turn the ESC will permit!

can anyone confirm the lowest turn I can go to with this ESC please?
9t, 10.5??

thanks in anticipation for your help

D

Default Motor?

Thanks Axeman,

can you tell me just for reference, what each of the Reedy models = in turns?.
I have the 3300kv and see you can buy
3900kv
4900kv and I will stay clear of the 6100kv.

I suppose because everyone talks in turns, it would help to get a sense of parity.

many thanks

thats a tough one

the 6100kv goes like a 5.5
4900kv aprox 7.5
3900kv aprox 9
3300kv aprox 10.5

please use that only as a guideline

personaly 4900kv would be my weapon on choice with summer comming up and the outdoor season.

you can always tame it down on the handset and in the speedo settings for indoor use.
