Classes & Rules

Classes
The BRCA F1 and GT10 Championship Series will cater for the following classes;

F1 Stock
An entry level class aimed at novices with limited rc racing experience. Race with standard off the shelf equipment that is cheap to buy and run.
F1 Expert

An F1 class aimed at more experienced and competent racers. Brushless motors and Li-Po batteries are permitted.
GT10

1/10th scale pan cars running GT style body shells. Competition electronics and control tyres.

Rules
In keeping with the intention of the series to be fun, light hearted and enjoyable, the rules have been written to try and be as inclusive as possible with regard to choice of chassis and electronics. It is possible to race in the F1 Stock class and be competitive with low cost electrics, while those with deeper pockets or existing equipment used in other classes will find the GT10 and F1 Expert classes more suited to their requirements.

Shame there's no round at Moto Arena, brilliant venue for pan cars, my F1 looks awesome going round there.

Be interesting to see if there really is enough demand for this, or if it's come a bit too late.

With there only being 3 rounds of the F1 series, that should be a no-brainer as to what series to do, and I was hoping it would be for me too based on distance, but both tracks are roughly the same distance from me.

I know it's not the easiest to schedule club's series, but it should be a little easier to schedule BRCA meetings, as one or the other or both will most likely suffer otherwise.

The 3rd round also clashes with the Mendip BTCC
