Default ansmann mad rat

hi guys, in need of some advice i want to ball race my mad rat BUT it says do i want metal shield or rubber shield on the bearings ?? which one should i go for ???

Rubber shielded provide more protection from dirt when racing off road. If you get them from rc bearings the metal are the same price as the rubber and they come as a set with all the ones you need.

Rubber sealed have slightly higher rolling resistance but you'd never notice it. But they will last a lot longer when exposed to dirt.

with the rubber bearings you remove the inner seal,flush out the oil and replace witha high speed proformace oil

thats great thanks for the sound advice i'll order some up later from rc bearings unless you guys know anywhere else to get them from ?
