Default Losi8 RTR

Is it BRCA legal straight out of the 'box'?

If not - why not?

Hmmm, thanks.

Would that cause a problem at anything other than a national?

got to check the fuel tank size and engine capacity, not sure on the tank size (it might be 125cc) and the engine got to be a .21ci (3.5cc)

Tank capacity is fine.

Engine is a 'Team Losi 427' - 4.27cc?

Maybe it's a Chevvy 427 big block?

Like many other RTR rallycross buggy kits, the Losi is just one that comes with a larger engine. In this case, the engine is the same one that they have used in the LST monster truck kits.

It is too large for BRCA santioned competitions but there is little gain to be had by running one so I believe many clubs dont enforce the rules too stringently.

The power on offer from a .21ci compared to the Mach 427 (4.27cc) which is a .26ci is plenty and even truggy racers are installing .21 engines over .28 engines that are legal for better fuel economy and smoother power.

I have a Picco .21 in my truggy, really annoys other truggy runners when they got to fuel up at 6mins and i go 8-9 mins lol
