Hi

I use the std KO one that came with the esprit II, not sure of model number, and an LRP one (think the LRP is basically a re-branded KO??) with my son's Gemini II transmitter and no problems. Using sanwa crysals.

hth

Oh they are. I've used them with Sanwa Gemini and exzes. Still use one in my cougar. My nephew also uses one with his Gemini.

Although a lot of people seem to have success with mix and match transmitters and receivers... I always recommend getting the same brand.

Back when crystal radios were common, the people who had radio problems were always the ones you were running mix-and-match setups.

I once ran a "compatible" Hitec receiver with my Futaba radio. Although it would work on one of my frequencies, on the other it would go out of control near the rostrum.

Get the Sanwa receiver.

I own a Durango, I want to go back to 40mhz with my Gemini 2 and to get a Sanwa micro receiver it's £60 for the 431.

The 311 so called micro receiver is too big and I interference no matter what I do just can't get the receiver far enough from the speedo. I don't like buying used gear neither so mix match receivers for me.
