Default ko propo

hi all i have got a ko propo espirit 3 and it has a lap timer built into the transmitter but i have no idea how to get it to time my car anyone have any ideas?

It's manual, you press one of the small silver buttons on the top (can't remember whether it's left or right) as it's really a stopwatch.

I have the manual at home so if you get stuck I'll take a look at it and see if I can remember how it works - never bothered using it tbh!

That method of lap timing is fine on a track with open sections as you will need to take your concentration off the car for a split second to acurately judge teh point at which it passes the reference feature you have on the track (I normally put a stick in the ground painted white so it's easy to see and have it about the 1/3rd point on the main straight.

I'd not advise trying to do it on a small straight or worse in the in field, could get expensive.

I believe the Esprit 3 has the target lap time function too but not tried it yet. With that you can set a time and it will beep at that point and you can tell if you in front or behind your target lap time, usefull for pacing yourself when your practicing as the only car on the track.
