Hi gazhillAE,you say 5 or 6 rear try both, what difference would it make and would the oil and springs need to be changed to,or is it the 5 hole out door gives the same as changing oil and springs when out door?

My starting setup pretty much everywhere, indoors and out, is:

2wd: 4.5F/4 Hole/35wt and 2.0R/5 Hole/30wt

4wd: 3.5F/4 Hole/35wt and 2.0R/5 Hole/30wt

Is there anywhere where else you can get them? Pistons seem reasonably priced, but on three pairs postage was 1.50 a pair, regardless of how many pairs you buy. Seemed a bit steep.

Thought you'd run Schumacher pistons for more pack indoors

TBH, I ran tapered pistons indoors because they were still in the shocks from outdoors, and the car was fine. They are probably not needed indoors as there aren't normally any small bumps/ruts where they offer an advantage.

That was my logic too. Ghea were 'ok' at taplow but wish I'd tried the Schumacher rounded pistons. Going to start with them at Petit. Having said that you can drive, I can't lol..

Rather than start a new thread Ill jump in on this one.

Im guessing with the ghea pistons the "rounded side" must be facing down so that when positive pressure is applyed it is the "flat side" that is compressing the oil.

Im nearly confusing myself here!

Thanks

Postage pricing has now been adjusted slightly so should be more appealing..
