Well Judging from the amount of new cars that were being set up (buggy) at the weekend, the buggy championship should be quite interesting this year. We have Tony with his Associated RC8. Jordan with his LRP SX8EVO. Both of the Lee brothers had buggies going around as well and there more apparently that have buggies. So dont miss out get booked in.

Due to the weather up at Deerdale, there is too much snow for the meeting next Sunday 12th December to run.
It will be rescheduled for sometime after the New Year.

See the pictures on the website for an idea of the amount of snow, we had to walk up to the track as it is inaccessible for cars.

Apologies for the formatting problems on the homepage, I will try and fix it as soon as I can.

Finally, all at Deerdale Off Road wish you a Happy Christmas and New Year and we hope to see you in 2011!

HI....

I assume that the 3rd round is now going to be on the 9th January?

Just wondering if you run electric 1/8th along side the nitro's?

Thanks

Default Rnd3

Rnd 3 Is this weekend, 9 th Jan. Due to Deerdale being a nitro club and rnd 3 being a championship rnd only nitro cars are being race. We have members that have electric 1/10 th and 1/8 th. We have said that if enough turn up we would put a race on for you. But due to the characteristic of the electric being different to the nitro cars it would be unfair to race against each other in a championship round.

The race meeting this weekend WILL take place. The weather forecast for Sunday is good for this time of the year. Although the midlands has had rain towards the end of the week the track is in good condition. Deerdale is probably the best track for drainage. If you were present at the last truggy national event at Deerdale you will know what I mean.
So get your new toys out or dust the cob webs off your old ones and come and have a
good days racing at probably the best astro track in the midlands.

Usually Custom Built Racing take few spare with them but i would ring him & ask to take you some/ Think he just stocks Opti Fuel though unless he has started stocking other brands.
