GT 85 works wonders on your plastic parts, Once I've stripped a car down, I give all plastics a good scrub in the sink with a dash of fairy in warm water - then once dry, lightly spray on GT 85 for that new look..

Spot on, thats what I do (rare, I admit!) - usually use wd40 since I have it kicking about, but I think the gt85 drys / wipes off cleaner.

Im also a big GT85 fan, i love the smell of it too. I usually spray, wipe, spray again and then blast off with my compressor. Works a treat.

I use lens cleaner spray (free from work) and a rag/toothbrush and air compressor.

Clean your cars???? Is it not like a good wok where as the dirt builds up it helps performance???
I really must clean my cars, will do it tomorrow ... when that finally gets here! I used to use the GT85 method on the Pred back in the day but because the Kyosho stuff is so reliable it has become "build and forget", even teh diffs only need doing once or twice a year if you use good balls in the build (I use Kyosho ceramics or RcBearings.co.uk ceramics) |

To re-furb it is a full strip and a new bearing set... then into the dish washer with the major components.. while they are cleaning wash out yer new bearing set, dry 'em in the airing cupboard or on the rad, re-oil and back onto the rad wrapped in kitchen roll then one final drop of oil per bearing.. by this time the dish washer will have stopped ages ago, get everything out before the wife gets home and re-assemble... to get it all nice and shiny I use fl*sh dash or similar on the black bits and buff the shell with mr. sh*en or similar...
Simples..!! ![]()
