R/C fakes
Hi All!
Thought I'd post this for a laugh. I just bought this from the local supermarket for £15 with transmitter, charger and battery (even transmitter battery too), it's 1/10th scale and is a very poor copy of a Tamiya Manta Ray....check out some of the funny text on the box/shell if you can see it. For the equivalent of £15 it's worth it just for my little girls to play around with on the drive over here and on the garden if it has the oomph to move! There was also a truck on the shelf which was a very bad HPI copy (as was the box), funny thing was it had a Muchmore sticker on the shell (see pic) and a sticker saying 'hot racing' in exactly the same style and colour as 'hpi racing'....made me chuckle! Yeah, found this one a few months back in SMYTHS toy store. £30 all in.
Blatant rip off of the Hot Bodies D4 styling. Chassis wise it is pretty cack! its only 2wd and looks like it would melt if you left it near a radiator! lol
