Default fuzion exceed

Just found what looks like a good speedo / motor combo... the fuzion exceed with a 6.5 motor... http://www.apexmodels.com/gbu0-prods...FS-XC3065.html
Would this be any good for a bugdet racer like me... bearing in mind it will probably be going in a cat sx... would the speedo possibly be too big ???

Cheers
Rich

Fitted a Fusion 10.5 combo to a club members B4, very very impressed, was going to fit one in my short course, but came accross second hand stuff instead, saved a bit of money as it's only for fun

Can't speak for the fusions, but i've run two ezrun 35a - 9t's in my 2wd,4wd and sct and I've found them to be a v reliable problem free brand (and really cheap if you buy from HK)

Ezruns are very good, but they are a sensorless system and hence cannot match the smoothness of a sensored system like the Exceeds.

So far those people I know with them seem very happy. I run LRP esc's myself, but even so I've just bought one of the Exceed 6.5t motors because they are extremely quick and very good value.

So in summary, esc good, motor good, price great. Why not?

loads better then the ezrun systems as they are sensorless so abit judery where as with sensored there more smooth love mine i have a speed passion 13t sensorless combo was good but no were near as smooth as a sensored system.the hobbyking esc that is similar is the zerun thats sensored but mainly from hong kong so have to wait about 3weeks for them + its a pain when it comes to warranty

i have run the exceed 6.5 for a year now and think its fantastic its got the power and adjustabillity you need with reliabillity as well program card is ok but once set up is not to nessacery as they run great i use mine every 6 months or so indoor/outdoor season
my first sytem did have a little judder problem after 6 months but it was the system i had run in the snow and had to dry out in front of thr fire in winter and had it hitting temps of over 110 c with no fan attached in summer and it still ran ok really but i sent it back and within 2 weeks or less i had a complete brand new system that has run faultlessly since
ezerun are a good system no doubt but the exceeed is a far better vsytem for racers
well recommennded the only other gear i would consider is lrp and the prices are a bit high for me
