Default a good 4wd RTR start package

Looking to get 2 cars for young drivers to learn the ropes with.

Ideally RTR with a brushless setup.

Inital thoughts pointed towards CASTER RACING SK10 1/10TH 4WD RTR BUGGY - BRUSHLESS (http://www.m-k-racing.com/product_in...oducts_id=8039) as this seemed like excellent value for money and we can always get some cheap lipo off ebay to bash around with.

Parts also seem readily available from MK as obviously we don't want to get caught out with broken wishbones for weeks.

Any other suggestions on cars and bundles would be appreciated

There is also a brushless RTR version of the Ansmann Blizzard too. I've not seen many of either (1 Caster, 1 Blizzard and 2 X4-Pro's the Blizzard is based on) and the Ansmanns seem a lot better. The Caster needs a lot of work from the box to run reliably and handle well, so I'd avoid that one.

No it doesn't, I've ran mine without any breakages for about 5 meetings, then yesterday I managed to hit a solid post with the back corner at the end of the straight and only bent a hinge pin, my son has the rtr one and that's ran faultlessly.

Also check out the LRP blast, solid car with gear diifs, big bore shocks and is quick to add. Is handling a LRP 6.5 with ease. It might not look the best car out there but it sure does go aswell as anything else out there once its had the shocks setup.

The blast is as cheap as chips, and with Jamie importing it you should be able to get spares pretty easily....

I think the LRP is the only one with gear diffs, right?

That's definitely a newb-friendly feature.
