Default Bulging lipo

I have a pack of saddles, Reedy 4200 35C which I bought probably just over a year ago. I stopped using them about 3 months ago because the casing was starting to bulge and rub on the pulley in the cat. also the pack seemed to lipo cut off and then only take 3500mah to charge it back up...

Is this pack safe to use still as it still lasts a race?

The plastic case isn't pierced or anything

I wouldn't, but I've gotten pretty paranoid where Lipos are concerned. A bulging as far as I'm aware, means your lipos has died or is dying. It might provide with the power you need, but if it's "dumping" then you know what can happen when it goes below a certain voltage.
