Hi guys...
Conversion turned up this morning, here it is...  Just finished installing the electrics in it, think theres something wrong with my diff so ill be taking it apart again  Cheers, Tom

Hey looks good , it may be the pic but the rear shocks look said they lean back alot ? What did you do with mounting the bottom of the shocks did you change the bottoms or use an imperial screw ? Have you got ae axles/ driveshafts ? Sorry for all the Qs.

The rear shocks do lean back but only a little, maybe a spacer between the shock end and wishbone to space it out a bit could be used... Yes, i just used an imperial screw for the shock bottoms, doesnt seem loose so no problems there...
I havent got the rear drive shafts for AE wheels, ive just used 4, .03 washers to space out the drive shaft from the hub, taken the hex off and use the standard drive pin with AE/Losi wheel... On the front i drilled out a B4 steering block to 3mm so i could use it with this car and AE front wheels as ive got plenty of them lying around... This cars a good build and a very good price! Cant wait to see how it handles

ah thats a good idea about the rear driveshafts, i was thinking about doing a ae mod on the front myself , i put some ae shocks on my conversion, i drilled the top bushings out and put the madrat shock moutings on the bottom so i kept it all metric. mine is built and shell painted im just waiting for some elecs for mine but maybe not gonna be able to try it for a week or so !

If you do use AE rims with the standard driveshafts, just be careful when lining the pin up with the slot in the wheel, also be careful not to overtighten the wheel...
I think ill end up buying the associated rear CVD's that team c do, just to make everything nice and "tight"... I may also try some Kyosho RB5 rear hubs, dont like the standard ones but dont really want to shell out on the ally ones

yeah i was um and rr ing about the driveshafts for ae rims but wasnt sure what would happen up front until i got the kit and see you can mod ae front end parts to fit .
Yeah the ally rear hubs are a bit on the expensive side , do kyosho do a 0.5 or 1 deg rear hub? would be good to have the choice of abit more toe

not entirely sure, just the kyosho ones seem a bit more substantial, i need to look into it
