Default X-6 donar car question

Hey
I'm really interested in purchasing an X-6. I do not however have a donor car. Is it best to buy a whole B4 kit or just buy the bits needed to make up the X-6. If its best to buy the B4 kit which kit is best for the X-6? Factory team?
Thanks

we bought a almost brand new factory team b4 as we wanted to use the threaded shocks,if ur going down the losi threaded shock route which seems to be popular, a std b4 will do

Personally I prefer none-thread AE shocks, but I think I am the only one. But I would recommend the B4-stealth (Not factory team) full kit, and then buy a titanium turnbuckle set, HD servo saver spring and blue front pin brace - that is all that is needed as far as B4 upgrades.

When you fit the E-speed blue rear camber hangers, you'll need shorter turnbuckles anyway. So id recommend ordering them by the pair specifying the required lengths, you can do this with Lunsford ones. Then fitting Losi shocks is up to you.

Get the cheapest second hand B4 you can find. Then add this to your x6 kit with the blue front hinge pin brace. Lunsford ti turnbuckles, RPM ball cups. losi or associated threaded shocks. E-speed bits.

roberts your dads brother. AWESOME
