There are very few RS's about, as most plump for the Pro from the get go.

If Speed Passion too big, check out Nosram/LRP - slightly smaller footprint (although not as small as the RS Pro).

Insideline Racing have the RS Pro on offer at the moment...£180 I think..?

LRP/Nosram TC (touring car) spec should be fine for 4wd - they are normally rated to handle bigger current loads than their non-TC versions.

Are you certain you can't get your existing SP to fit? I'm sure there are plenty of examples of how it can be done in the Durango thread...??

Nothing wrong with the RS as far as I know.

But your application seems to lean heavily to the usage profile of the RS Pro (4wd, 6.5 motor, presume high grip carpet/astro tracks?).

I've been looking at the Tekin kit and thought I might be able to use the RS in my X6, but was advised that as I usually run a 6.5 and run often on high grip (Indoor carpet, dry Astro, etc), this might stress the RS too much and that the RS Pro would be a better bet.

As I understand it, the Durango doesn't offer too many airflow opportunities and so you want to keep your kit running as cool as possible. The RS Pro (with it's higher FET count, so cooler running) seems a better match for your setup.

Personally, I wouldn't run the RS in 4wd - I would be too concerned with it over heating and damaging itself. Ultimately, the decision is yours..!
