Default New B4.1

Hello All,

I have just brought a brand new B4.1 and was looking for any tips I need to know while building it, or if i should run some weight in it.

I will be running on Astro tracks through out the winter. Shall i just start with the set up from the book, I like to start there normally.

I have not longer moved over from Nitro and am currently running a B44, which i have got running pretty good.

Thanks in advance
Mark,

In terms of weight, most people run the ghea or trishbits front and rear bulkheads.
Others then add some of the rudebits brass as well.

Right ok, do i just take my pick or shall I go for a certain weight?
In my B44 I have the rude bits lipo tray and brace.

On the B4 with lipo's you need around 40g at the very front of the car (Trishbits bulkhead is perfect ) and 30g or so between the gearbox and battery, any more and you are just making the car heavier for no reason.

Everyone's opinion will differ on the exact set-up and weight to run, but I think everyone will agree that the stock settings as per the manual won't work on astro.

I'd suggest compared to the manual you'll need silver springs front and rear, more damping, less rear toe, weight on the front, more upright rear shocks
