Default rear diff is slipping

Hi guys,

This may be a dumb question, but how do you adjust the rear diff without having to take the entire thing apart?

Also, how do I know if the front diff is not slipping?

Thank guys!

R.

You can take the drive shafts out of the outdrives, and on one side (the right side, I think) and you can tighten/loosen it with a 2mm driver.

to test if they are slipping u need to hold both wheels (front)or (rear)
then turn the spurgear with ure thumb , make sure the prop doesnt turn b4 ure slipper lets go
in other words ure ure slipper should slip b4 ure diff so the prop should not turn if ure diff is set right
hope this helps??
someone may be able to explain it better

Both Nick Caro and myslef have posted on how to set and install diffs in the FS, do a search in this section for "diff" with either RogerM or njc11 as the poster and they should come up ... search for posts not threads though.

If not post back and we'll try to answer for you here (or more likely find the original posts as they are both quite long).

Generally the Kyosho diffs are awesome, I rarley feel the need to rebuild mine as they stay so smooth and hold their setting very well.
