Default not quite what Schumacher intended, but...

... how would a Cougar SV do as a miniature SCT? I'm fairly certain the jConcepts Ford Raptor body for the Revo 3.3 is the correct wheelbase and width, and body mounts are not hard to fab up, nor are bumpers. I really really like the design of the Cougar SV, but SCTs and dirt oval cars are what everyone around here runs. my local track is pretty much run-what-ya-brung, as long as it has the proper number of wheels spinning for the class and looks vaguely like what it's supposed to, it's kosher, and I have a feeling the SV could more than bring the fight to the local contingency of Blitzes and SC10s on track, despite being a bit smaller in every direction. am I completely crazy and likely to ruin a perfectly good example of British engineering by trying to make it something it's not, or is it not that terribly bad of an idea that nobody has tried in the past 20 years (cue Heavy Metal/Class 8 trucks of '80s vintage, 2wd and 4wd buggies with truck bodies on them) due to change of trends and the advent of other classes?

I suddenly really really really like Schumacher. still, I am a bit curious as to how the SV would work as either a dirt oval car or a 1:12 SCT, because it is a seriously sharp looking car and I want to try something a bit different
